Chagrin Valley Little Theatre Women’s Committee Hosts Fundraising Salad Luncheon June 13 - 5/15 /08

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH - The Chagrin Valley Little Theatre Women’s Committee will be holding a special fundraising salad luncheon on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 11am-2:30pm in the River Room of the theater at 40 River Street in Chagrin Falls. Committee Chairperson Laurice Koury-Goldberg states, “We are looking forward to this delightful luncheon that will feature ten different homemade gourmet salads, rolls, butter, incredible desserts, and beverages all for only $15.00. In fact, guests will also receive a salad recipe booklet and have a chance to win a raffle prize and bid in our fantastic silent auction.”

The luncheon takes place during the Chagrin Valley Home and Garden Tour. Tickets for the home tour are available for purchase between 11am and 3pm at Town Hall. Town Hall is at 83 N. Annually the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre (CVLT) offers seven productions during the yearfive straight plays and two musicals. Audiences enjoy first-class entertainment with high tech lighting, sound systems, and excellent acoustics. The theatre boasts a 262-seat auditorium, set-building area, costume storage, box office, dressing rooms, and the wonderful River Room, which is the host to many spectacular dinner events.

Formed in 1930, the theatre has operated for seventy-eight consecutive years and is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. The mission of the CVLT is to provide quality, live and affordable productions to residents in Northeast Ohio. Furthermore, it fosters training of young people in the performing arts. Chagrin Valley Little Theatre is generously funded by Cuyahoga County residents through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and is supported by the Ohio Arts Council. CVLT was voted 'Best Community Theatre' by Cleveland Magazine Readers, and 'Best Theatre Group' on the Fox 8 HotList in 2007.
