Our 94th Season

CVLT’s 94th Season offers comedy, mystery, and music! With the world-premiere of Scott Lax’s 1970, the return of our record-breaking holiday musical Elf, and some special surprises we can’t even tell you about yet, it’s going to be quite the year here in Chagrin Falls!

Donate to our Annual Appeal

Dear Friends of CVLT,

Donate OnlineFor almost 95 years, you and thousands of others have shared these experiences at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre’s Main Stage and River Street Playhouse, either attending performances, or treading the boards as a performer or crew member. Your loyalty, enthusiasm, and resilience have buoyed our strength to continue to fulfill our mission: to enrich the cultural life of our audiences and bring involvement in the performing arts to all.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our artists, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners, we brought six successful productions to life on the CVLT MAIN STAGE this past season, raising nearly three times the budgeted ticket sales revenue. Our revitalized Youth Theater program continued to thrive, with our second year of a sold-out Summer Camp, and September brought us another highly successful Murder by the Falls fundraiser.

During the past year, it was discovered that without immediate intervention, we were on track to lose the valuable asset of our RIVER STREET PLAYHOUSE and its contents due to the extreme deterioration of the building. Reallocation of the necessary capital funds launched a remarkable new start for RSP, which to date has had many significant cleanout days, received a new roof, masonry repairs, and mold mitigation. As a result, the dance studio opened on November 1st allowing the cast of The Three Musketeers to be the first production to rehearse there since before the pandemic.

As we move through our 94th season, our goal is to celebrate the work and dedication of past generations and merge the best of those practices with the needs of today. Please consider supporting our 2023-24 Annual Appeal with a donation of your choice. Your support not only helps to protect our theatre now but serves as the bedrock to preserve it for future generations. We appreciate your patronage and strive to make CVLT the best it can be for you and all of our wonderful community!
