MURDER BY THE FALLS: River Street Blues
(September 7 - 8, 2012)

In CVLT's annual fund-raising murder mystery comedy, Inspector Gotcha and Detective Ketchum invite the audience to help them solve the crime, with dessert, prizes, and plenty of fun. In this year's installment, even the police are suspects when a criminal being held in the jail is found dead!

(September 14 - 16, 2012)

Musical director Stephen A. Eva and director Don Edelman team up for Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley's "The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd" - their fifth annual musical event. The full Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra performs on stage, with songs like "Who Can I Turn To?" and "Feeling Good."

GOD OF CARNAGE (September 28 - October 20, 2012)

In Yasmina Reza's Tony award winning comedy (translated by Christopher Hampton), the parents of two 11-year-old boys meet to discuss their sons' playground tussle, but after a few drinks begin their own fighting! A film adaptation by Roman Polanski appeared in 2011.

Ghosts, Goblins & Gobbledygook (October 20 - 21, 2012)

The annual Halloween production of Ghosts, Goblins and Gobbledygook is returning to Chagrin Valley Little Theatre’s Main Stage with songs, treats, and a costume parade for little ones ages 3-8.

VERONICA'S ROOM (October 26 - November 10, 2012) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

The elderly caretakers of an estate invite young Susan and her date to visit the bedroom of the late Veronica, who looked like Susan. Before long, the young couple are trapped in an unexpected situation that leads to a dramatic ending in this psycho-thriller from Ira Levin.

Youth Theater Showcase (November 3, 2012)

CVLT's Youth Theatre presents a small showcase culminating the Fall session.

(November 16 - December 16, 2012)

Audiences adore the musical that launched the career of Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics by Tim Rice. Joseph is the rocking retelling of the tale of Joseph, from the Book of Genesis, and how he saved Egypt with his ability to interpret dreams.

WONDER OF THE WORLD (November 30 - December 15, 2012) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

In absurdist playwright David Lindsay-Abaire's comedy, Cass leaves her regular life on a journey of self-discovery in Niagara Falls, where she has a series of bizarre misadventures.

Holiday Show & Gingerbread Tea (December 8 - 9, 2012)

The annual Holiday Show with Santa and His Friends / The Gingerbread Tea returns to Chagrin Valley Little Theatre’s Main Stage with songs and stories for young children plus a special visit from Santa Claus.

Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra Holiday Concert (December 22 - 23, 2012)

An annual Chagrin tradition featuring the 45-piece Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra performing holiday favorites, as the audience is encouraged to “wassail” along to beloved Christmas carols.

New Year's Eve Show - Pat Mazzarino & Friends (December 31, 2012)

CVLT's annual new year's eve concert event. This yea, a musical cabaret featuring Pat Mazzarino and friends performing songs from pop and musical theater.

THE FOX ON THE FAIRWAY (January 18 - February 9, 2013)

Ken Ludwig, author of Leading Ladies, Moon Over Buffalo and Lend Me A Tenor, offers up this farce about two rival golfing clubs and their tournament. A lost engagement ring, startling revelations, and a breakneck pace make this madcap comedy a hole-in-one!

Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra Valentine Concert (February 15 - 16, 2013)

The Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra plays their annual special concert of music for Valentine's day.

Youth Theater Show (February 23 - 24, 2013)

CVLT's Youth Theatre presents a play on the main stage culminating the Winter session.

2 ACROSS (March 1 - 16, 2013) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

Playwright Jerry Meyer presents a comedy about two married strangers - a female psychologist and an unemployed man - who meet by chance on the subway and help to solve more for each other than just their newspaper crossword puzzles.

PUTTING IT TOGETHER (March 22 - April 20, 2013)

A musical revue featuring songs by Stephen Sondheim, including selections from Sweeney Todd, Company, A Little Night Music, Into the Woods, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way To the Forum, and other favorites.

Spring Tea Luncheon (April 12, 2013)

CVLT Women's Committee invites the public for tea!

MRS. MANNERLY (May 3 - May 18, 2013) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

The River Street Playhouse presents Jeffrey Hatcher's one-act comedy "Mrs. Mannerly", inspired by hilarious memories of a childhood etiquette class. Young Jeffrey discovers a secret about his demanding teacher (no student in her thirty-six years of etiquette classes has achieved a perfect score) and turns it to his advantage. This unique comic tale reveals truths about the face we present and the real selves that lie inside.

Salad Luncheon Buffet (May 31, 2013)

CVLT Women's Committee invites the public for a fabulous salad luncheon!

SKIN DEEP (May 31 - June 22, 2013)

Jon Lonoff's play is about two sisters and their significant others. This hilarious comedy tackles issues of weight, plastic surgery, middle-aged dating, and infidelity with tons of zippy one-liners and a warm heart.

THE 10-10 NEW PLAYS FESTIVAL (June 28 - July 13, 2013) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

It's the return of CVLT's popular festival of ten ten-minute, one-act plays. The River Street Playhouse will featuring premiere works by playwrights from Northeast Ohio and beyond.

LEGALLY BLONDE (July 19 - August 17, 2013)

Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film, Legally Blonde is the story of Elle Woods, an attractive sorority girl who heads to Harvard Law to win back her boyfriend, but soon discovers how her law education gives her the power to help others. With music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach, this popular musical comedy was nominated for multiple Tony and Drama Desk awards.
