MURDER BY THE FALLS: "Dead Again… and Again!"
(September 9 - 10, 2011)

A prominent Broadway director brings her technically difficult and expensive superhero musical to the CVLT stage after it flops spectacularly on Broadway. Slowly but surely, the theatre folks come to hate her - who will kill her in the end? Inspector Gotcha invites audiences to help solve the mystery at CVLT's annual fundraiser event!

CHAGRIN FALLS STUDIO ORCHESTRA (September 23 - 25, 2011)

Musical director Stephen A. Eva and director Don Edelman team up for "Spotlight on Broadway" - their fourth annual musical event, with the full Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra on stage.

The 39 STEPS (October 7 - 22, 2011)

Adapted by Patrick Barlow from the 1915 novel by John Buchan and the 1935 film by Alfred Hitchcock, this comedic adaptation of the spy story uses just a handful of actors with lightning-fast costume changes to play heroes, villains, men, women, children, and even the occasional inanimate object. The Broadway production was the longest running play of the 2000s decade.

Ghosts, Goblins & Gobbledygook (October 22 - 23, 2011)

The annual Halloween production of Ghosts, Goblins and Gobbledygook is returning to Chagrin Valley Little Theatre’s Main Stage with songs, treats, and a costume parade for little ones ages 3-8.

LONELY PLANET (October 28 - November 12, 2011) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

In Steven Dietz' play, Jody seldom leaves the map store which he owns and runs. His friend Carl comes and goes as his various professions need him. "Lonely Planet" is an endearing, comical and poignant friendship tale that examines two courses of thought: should we hide ourselves away from the world and its imperfections or should we immerse ourselves and hopefully make a difference?

Youth Theater Showcase (November 5, 2011)

CVLT's Youth Theatre presents a small showcase culminating the Fall session.

SCROOGE! (November 18 - December 18, 2011)

Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol was adapted by renowned writer/composer/lyricist Leslie Bricusse for the 1970 film, which became this audience-pleasing musical for the holiday season.

A TUNA CHRISTMAS (November 25 - December 10, 2011) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

The second in a series of comedies by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard which features two men playing over twenty hilarious characters! The Tuna, Texas annual Christmas Yard Display Contest is thrown a curve when a mysterious vandal sabotages the displays as the townsfolk try to manage their own crazy holiday turmoil.

Holiday Show & Gingerbread Tea (December 10 - 11, 2011)

The annual Holiday Show with Santa and His Friends / The Gingerbread Tea returns to Chagrin Valley Little Theatre’s Main Stage with songs and stories for young children plus a special visit from Santa Claus.

Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra Holiday Concert (December 22 - 23, 2011)

An annual Chagrin tradition featuring the 45-piece Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra performing holiday favorites, as the audience is encouraged to “wassail” along to beloved Christmas carols.

New Year's Eve Show - Pat Mazzarino & Friends (December 31, 2011)

Join Pat and friends as they ring in the New Year with your favorite songs from Broadway and Hollywood, plus a few surprises.

ENCHANTED APRIL (January 13 - February 4, 2012)

The Tony Award-nominated play by Matthew Barber is based on the 1922 novel, which was also an acclaimed 1992 film and Broadway musical. It is the story of four unlikely companions in 1920s England who come together to share a secluded castle in Italy on holiday.

YANKEE TAVERN (February 10 - 25, 2012) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

Steven Dietz' twisting and turning thriller set in a crumbling bar not far from ground zero in NYC spills plots and subplots about government conspiracies into the lives of the bar's unwitting patrons.

Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra Valentine Concert (February 11, 2012)

The Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra plays their annual special concert of music for Valentine's day.

Youth Theater Show (February 25 - 26, 2012)

CVLT's Youth Theatre presents a play on the main stage culminating the Winter session.

THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY OF STEVE JOBS (March 9 - 10, 2012) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

Andrew Rothman presents the first staged reading of Mike Daisey's funny and provocative monologue about our love affair with our first-world technology and the third-world conditions that make it possible.

THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (March 16 - April 14, 2012)

With book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar and music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, this Tony Award-winning musical pays homage to American musicals of the Jazz Age through the mind of one great fan and his well-worn cast recording.

THE GIN GAME (April 20 - May 5, 2012) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

Steve and Linda Ryan star in D.L. Coburn's classic 1976 tragi-comedy about two nursing home residents who begin a series of games of gin rummy that turns into a series of conversational battles and self-examination.

A NIGHT IN PROVENCE (June 1 - 23, 2012)

Master of farce Robin Hawdon (Perfect Wedding, Don't Dress for Dinner) presents the wild tale of three couples, one English, one French and one Irish, who find themselves triple-booked at a Riviera villa on their romantic holidays.

A STEADY RAIN (June 29 - July 14, 2012) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

A dark drama by Keith Huff focusing on two policemen who inadvertently hand over a young boy to a Dahmer-esque serial killer and find their lifelong friendship threatened as they try to place the blame.

HAIRSPRAY (July 20 - August 18, 2012)

Based on the 1988 John Waters film, and punched by Marc Shaiman's score, Scott Wittman's lyrics and a book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, this multi-Tony winning musical is the story of a chubby, spunky girl who brings about the racial integration of Baltimore's favorite 60's teen dance TV show.

BELLES
(August 10 - 25, 2012) at The River Street Playhouse, 56 River St.

Mark Dunn's endearing comedy about six Tennessee sisters who are now spread about the country is an intriguing story where conflicts in the characters' lives emerge through phone calls.
