Ghosts, Goblins & Gobbledygook

The annual Halloween production of Ghosts, Goblins and Gobbledygook is returning to Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's Main Stage with songs, treats, and a costume parade for little ones ages 3-8.

Jeff Baron's hit play about the redemptive and unexpected relationship between a crotchety widower and a lonely, successful young man.

Holiday Show & Gingerbread Tea

December 10 & 11, 2016

The annual Holiday Show with Santa and His Friends / The Gingerbread Tea returns to Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's Main Stage with songs and stories for young children, plus a special visit from Santa Claus.

Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra Holiday Concert

December 22 & 23, 2016

An annual Chagrin tradition featuring the 45-piece Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra performing holiday favorites, as the audience is encouraged to "wassail" along to beloved Christmas carols.

January 13 - February 4, 2017

Ron Hutchinson's play, based on historical events, centers on legendary producer David O. Selznick's frantic efforts to save "Gone With The Wind" from its originally awful script and clueless director by bringing in Victor Fleming and Ben Hecht to direct and re-write it mid-shoot. This farce also touches on the questions of race and the fragile position of Jewish executives in classic Hollywood.

The Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra performs a spring concert.

In this non-stop comedy by Billy van Zandt and Jane Milmore, a cast of washed up actors hatch a plan to save their flagging careers by appearing in a potboiler murder mystery directed by a megalomaniacal Broadway director. However, a real murder mystery is afoot which has them trying to save not just their careers, but the show, and their lives!

CVLT's popular biennial series of ten-minute one-acts returns to the River Street Playhouse, offering an evening of world-premiere works from playwrights near and far.


July 21 - August 19, 2017

This musical comedy, with its Tony-winning score by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and script by Jeff Whitty, is a darkly hilarious 'coming of age' satire set in a world peopled by Henson-esque puppets. It explores what happens when a generation raised on children's television encounters the harsh realities of adult life, including songs like "What Do You Do with a B.A. in English?", "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist," and "It Sucks to Be Me."


August 11 - 26, 2017

Lee Blessing's touching and complex drama, winner of the L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award, studies the dynamics between three generations of women in one family. The title, a synonym for "charitable," is a reference to the granddaughter's prowess in the spelling bees that figure into the story. Performed at CVLT's intimate River Street Playhouse.
